Cut mozzarella in to small cubes, slice cherry tomatoes in half & wash basil.

Take a long toothpick and slide on a cube of mozzarella.

In a true caprese you should also drizzle with pesto. (I mix my balsamic and pesto together and drizzle! Yum!)

I do this with the grape Roma tomato called Juliet. Because tomato is oval I cut it in thirds and use a whole tomato on a skewer. I use 4 inch skewers and put cheese and Basel between the tomato sections.
