Tracking your body fat percentage is a crucial step to measure your progress towards your goal. There are many methods out there but here follows a cheap and reliable one(if done right).
You can easily get a fat caliper on amazon or eBay. Price range goes from €/$5 to €/$40+. I payed €6 for mine.
Step 2 of 6
There are many online body fat calculators. I used the website linear-software.com but feel free to use any you wish. Simply insert your age, gender, weight and measurements to get your body fat %.
Step 3 of 6
Take this measurement midway between your armpit and nipple. Don't be afraid to grab the fat. Repeat it a couple of times and use the average on the body fat calculator.
Step 4 of 6
Vertically fold your skin, one inch to the right of your belly button. Again, take the measurement a couple of times and use the average.
Step 5 of 6
Vertically fold your skin and take the measurement midway between you knee cap and the top of your thigh.
Step 6 of 6
You are done! Don't forget to check my many other guides. Women's Guide coming soon.
Nn... U have me now I would have to see myself to suggest u something.. There is no other way really. U will have to get a fold in your skin to get a proper measurement :
How are you able to make that fold on your thigh, your flesh seems to be very loose. I tried folding, but couldn't, my flesh is too firm, or hard, cannot make a fold. How am I supposed to measure then?
