How to Build a Land Paddle
If the surfs not up or you don't live anywhere near it, here's a quick way to get a Stand up Paddle fix. Grab your longboard skateboard and build a Land Paddle
Supply list. Total $23.61 ace hardware
Cut the dowel to a length between your chin and forehead. Remember stand on the board you will use to get an accurate measurement.
With the excess dowel cut a 4" piece and with a wood screw and drill attach it to the top of the dowel.
Add the rubber tip to the bottom of the dowel for traction.
Test the length on your board. If its too long you can always remove the rubber tip and cut the dowel shorter.
Now you have a land paddle. Grab your board and have fun!
