Step 1 of 4

A friend of mine that has an android phone through sprint needed to block someone from texting him. So here's an easy way to do it. Only works with a sprint service.

Step 2 of 4

Send a text to 9999: in the message type BLOCK fallowed by the number you want to block. Exp. BLOCK ##########

Step 3 of 4

To unblock a number send ALLOW ########## to 9999

Step 4 of 4

Sprint will text you a confirmation text with each action. Just thought if pass this along.

@Chloe Go to your Sprint.com account. At the top of the page, mouse over 'My Sprint' and choose 'My Preferences'. Underneath the 'Limits and Permissions' header in 'All About My Account' box you will find the link for 'block voice'. If you have more than one phone on your account, click on your device and it will open up the section where you can type in the number you want to block from calling you.

For Verizon sign into your account on their website. Go to "My Services" then "Verizon Safeguards". Choose "Spam Controls," and then "Internet Spam Blocking." Enter the number you want to block then hit "save".
