Remove the lashes by bending the plastic packaging carefully so you do not damage the lashes.. Like so...
Step 3 of 17
Remove the packaging glue by carefully pulling it off the lash lining
Step 4 of 17
Bend the lashes like shown to make them more flexible and less stiff
Step 5 of 17
If you need to trim your lashes.. Place lash with no glue on your lid to measure how much you need to trim. Trim from the short end in. NOT the long!!!
Step 6 of 17
Apply the glue. With a little more on each of the ends...
Step 7 of 17
I use dark tone adhesive...when wet its light grey then dries black. Makes for a cleaner finish.
Step 8 of 17
Use the hair dryer at the lowest level and speed dry the adhesive (not too much the glue should be dark grey.. Not black!) As shown.
Step 9 of 17
Next. Applying the lash....
Step 10 of 17
Center the lash with your eye. Apply the center then gradually apply the edges as shown. Use the pin comb to secure the lash
Step 11 of 17
Finish off with using the hair dryer to harden the adhesive so it will set properly!
Step 12 of 17
Make sure the lash ends are secured well! If need be.. Apply a little more glue using the tip of your pin comb (or toothpick). use the hair dryer to speed the drying while pressing the end of the lash
Step 13 of 17
Step 14 of 17
After the adhesive is set. Use an eyelash curler for a extra curl.
Step 15 of 17
I wouldn't recommend applying mascara with false lashes. You may damage your natural lashes when taking the falsies off. If you want fuller looking lashes... Get bigger false lashes lol
Step 16 of 17
Looks perfect!!!!
Step 17 of 17
Ready to party!!!!!! :)) good luck everybody! Remember to practice!!!!
I use the neutrogena make up remover pads. Wipe above the lash then carefully pull them off. Then use the pad to remove excess glue. After, apply Vaseline to your eye line and eye lashes to re strengthen your lashes.
you can do either or. if i do cat eyes ill apply the make up after the lashes. if i am using loose powder i apply the make up before to avoid powder on the eyelash.
Short end in and not the long? That one dear, just went phewwww right over my head! I've never in almost 50 years have touched and of course let alone wear artificial eye lashes. If one already have natural eyelashes, can putting glue on the eyelids be a cause for natural eyelashes to fall out? I know on Broadway, the purpose for actors to wear artificial lashes is so the audience can see the individuals 'Features' better.
Oh... Apply glue along the artificial lashes and not on the eyelids. Is that correct!? I do apologise well in advance for coming across so dense. I just have never, ever learned about the man or machine-made lashes. I'm just one of those who feel comfortable doing my homework before coming to a conclusion. I hope that doesn't offend you or anyone else at anytime.
You've got quite gorgeous as well as lovely-lovely natural CURLED eyelashes. Do you curl your natural lashes, or is that as is? I envy those who have naturally occurring curled lashes??
