Well that's all there is to it. Could come in handy if you drove a long distance to a store and realized you forgot your wallet/purse. I hope someone finds this helpful.

just figured that out.. iphone passbook.. thought it was calling the main page of Lemon a "passbook" haha.. thx.. Seems Lemon is having trouble today. I've started two new accounts and all cards I add get stuck in the "recognizing card" step. (after a few that worked successfully) Tried everything to clear them out. reinstall etc. ideas?

Lemon book and passbook are two deprecate apps. The lemon app can load a card into your passbook app for you.

I dont undertand what it means by "add to passbook". I mean once you scan a card isn't already in your Lemon "passbook"??

Someone blamed me for making this guide as "a commercial". Let me assure you. I've never been asked to make a guide. I've never received anything in return for making a guide and I'm not affiliated with any apps I've ever made a guide for. I simply share things I feel are worth sharing.

Yea. I mentioned that in the guide. They have to have the modern camera style scanner. The kind they hold in their hand.

It only works if the shop has scanners that scan a screen, tried a loyalty card with a supermarket - didn't scan.

That's a separate service. It really has nothing to do with adding your cards and ID to your passbook. That's all done on your phone. No one else sees your info to digitalized them. The service for seeing your balance simply links to your banks website. So no one sees that information either. The sane with the lost wallet feature. It links to your bank website. Your bank is the one that'll take care of it all. So yes. It's safe. As safe as using your banks website because that's what you'll be doing here.

Au Natural

I'm not normally paranoid about Internet security, but if these guys have enough information about you to act as "agents" and cancel all of your cards in the event of your wallet getting stolen, they have a LOT of information. I find that a bit creepy. But thanks for the guide :)

Hey! I actually downloaded that lemon wallet app long ago& couldn't find it useful since they limited the number of cards so i deleted it but it seems they have updated it a lot since the time I had it! It didn't have the 'add to passbook' option. Thanks for sharing the info :)

It stands for Quick Response Code. It's kind of like a bar code. Do a google search for it. I'm sure you've seen QR Codes. They're all over the place these days.
